Introduction
We built this industrial halogen heater for the places where “maybe” just doesn’t cut it. Think of it as the kind of workhorse you want in the middle of a chaotic shift—steady, reliable, and not prone to panic. At its heart is a high-output halogen element paired with a mechanical tip-over switch. So if the unit gets bumped or knocked off its axis, power cuts out instantly. No waiting. No guesswork. It just shuts down before things can spiral into a fire hazard.
Technical Deep-Dive
It runs on 400V, because that’s what gives you serious power without taking up a ton of space. At 2500W, the tube heats up fast and holds steady even when the machine is working hard. That means less waiting around for the heat to catch up. And the 300mm length? It keeps the heat right where you need it. You can zero in on a specific part or mold area without wasting energy heating the whole surrounding frame.
Material & Design
The quartz tube is filled with halogen and finished with a reflective coating. That’s what keeps the infrared energy focused forward—less wasted heat, more repeatable results, run after run. The R7s connector makes installation straightforward. It’s a direct, drop-in fit for many industrial sockets, so you can wire it up and swap it out without redesigning the whole bay. And that tip-over protection? It’s a mechanical interlock, hardwired and simple. No software. No delay. Just a solid, physical safety net.
Application & Benefits
This setup is a natural fit for PET blowing and plastic processing—places that need fast, localized heating. You get a lot of heat from a small footprint, which is great, but it also means you’ve got to plan your cooling and clearance. The tip-over protection adds an extra layer of safety, but it doesn’t replace good mounting and proper guarding. If you need a heater that can take the rough and tumble of the floor and still shut down safely when things go sideways, this one’s built for that reality.
